On 9 September 2025, MTTC students visited Skala Design Sdn. Bhd., one of Malaysia's leading interior design firms. Guided by lecturer Ms. Fii and welcomed by En. Mizi, students enjoyed an exclusive office tour and design talk.
Learning from design innovators
Students heard about Skala Design's history, the creative vision behind their workspace and the firm's approach to interior design – and saw first-hand how concepts become reality through space planning, material selection and functionality.
Bridging education and industry
The visit gave 25 students a deeper understanding of professional design practice and the creative process behind a successful interior design firm.
