International students

MTTC College welcomes students from around the world to study hands-on, industry-focused programmes in Malaysia. Our international admissions team guides you from your first enquiry through your Student Pass, arrival and orientation.

01Your journey

From application to your first day

  1. 1

    Apply online

    Complete the MTTC International Student Application Form and upload your documents. We confirm receipt the same working day.

  2. 2

    Document screening

    Our admissions team checks your documents within 1 working day and tells you if anything is missing.

  3. 3

    Online interview

    If needed, we arrange a short online interview – covering your English communication, academic background and suitability for the programme.

  4. 4

    Offer letter

    Successful applicants receive an offer letter stating programme, campus, intake, duration, fees and conditions. Please accept within 3 working days.

  5. 5

    Pay admission & hostel fees

    Pay the admission fee (and hostel fee, if staying with us) within 3 working days of accepting your offer. We arrange your accommodation.

  6. 6

    Student Pass application

    We prepare and submit your Student Pass application to EMGS (Education Malaysia Global Services). EMGS reviews your documents and JPK verifies your academic documents.

  7. 7

    eVAL & travel

    Once approved you receive an eVisa Approval Letter (eVAL), valid for 6 months. Depending on your nationality you may also need a Single Entry Visa / eVisa. We send you a pre-arrival checklist.

  8. 8

    Arrive in Malaysia

    Complete the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) up to 3 days before arrival and update your arrival in the EMGS Hub app. We help with hostel check-in.

  9. 9

    Medical screening & Student Pass

    Complete medical screening at an EMGS-registered clinic within 7 working days of arrival. Your Student Pass is then endorsed in your passport and your i-Kad is issued.

    Registration & orientation

    Register as an MTTC student, join orientation – and start your programme!

International student FAQs

How long does the Student Pass process take?

MTTC submits your application to EMGS within 1 working day once all documents and fees are complete. Processing after that depends on EMGS, so apply at least 6 weeks before your programme starts.

Do I need an English test?

Please include any English qualification or test result you have. If needed, we may also check your English during a short online interview.

Can MTTC arrange accommodation?

Yes. Hostel accommodation is available – pay the hostel fee with your admission fee and we arrange your room and check-in.

What happens after I arrive?

Complete medical screening at an EMGS-registered clinic within 7 working days. Your Student Pass is then endorsed on your passport and your i-Kad (student identity card) is issued.
