After SPM, a diploma is the fastest way into a career – about 2 years instead of 4+ for a foundation and degree – and you can still top up to a degree later.
5 things to check before you choose
- Recognition – is the college registered and the programme accredited? Look for JPK registration and MQA accreditation.
- How much is hands-on – design and technical jobs hire on portfolios and software skills. MTTC diplomas are 70% practical.
- Industry experience – is there a real internship? MTTC students do a 6-month paid internship.
- What happens after – does the college help you get a job? MTTC's industry partners have committed to placing our diploma graduates, with a minimum starting salary of RM3,000 a month.
- Can you continue to a degree – MTTC graduates can top up with SEGi University or Coventry University (UK, studied in Singapore).
