MTTC College and PAMSo Forge Strategic Alliance to Strengthen Architecture & BIM Education
Johor Bahru, 28 November 2025 — In a move to modernize built-environment education in Malaysia, MTTC College has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with PAMSo (the southern chapter of the Malaysian Institute of Architects).
Under the agreement, PAMSo will endorse MTTC’s architecture- and design-related programmes, providing strategic guidance and participating on MTTC’s Technical Advisory Committee. This partnership aims to bring academic training closer to real-world industry requirements, with a strong emphasis on digital construction workflows, Building Information Modelling (BIM), and sustainable architectural practice.
For MTTC — known for its practical, hands-on teaching model — the collaboration adds significant professional weight to its curriculum. Over 70 % of the college’s learning is already experiential, and PAMSo’s involvement is expected to expand opportunities for students to participate in workshops, design critiques, exhibitions, and industry networking events.
PAMSo’s chairman emphasized that the partnership is particularly timely given the growing demand for skilled talent in architecture and construction in Malaysia’s southern corridor.
“This MoU represents more than a formality; it is an investment in the next generation of built-environment professionals,” said MTTC’s Programme Director. “Together, we hope to nurture creative and competent graduates ready to contribute to the industry.”
With this strategic alliance, both institutions reaffirm their commitment to shaping future-ready professionals who can meet the challenges of a rapidly transforming industry — blending creativity, technology, and professionalism.
