The Future Design Star Award initiative took centre stage on 16 June 2025 as MTTC College, in partnership with ACG Media, hosted an engaging Dialogue with Design Organisations (DDO) session for its students.
The event welcomed Jackal Chua, Co-founder & Director of Metrics Global, and Keith Chan, Founder of Northmos, who shared their personal journeys in the interior design industry. Students gained valuable insights into the realities of running a design business—learning about the challenges faced, opportunities available, and what it takes to establish a successful company.
For the 40 participating students, the session was not only an eye-opening look into the professional design world but also a chance to explore potential career paths and future job opportunities. Discussions on entrepreneurship, industry demands, and innovation inspired many to think about how they could carve their own place in the design landscape.
