The Human Resource Development Corporation (HRD Corp) is a Malaysian government agency under the Ministry of Human Resources. It oversees the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) and plays a pivotal role in facilitating workforce upskilling and reskilling through various training initiatives. Employers registered with HRD Corp contribute a levy, which can be utilized to fund employee training programs aimed at enhancing productivity and competitiveness.

One of the avenues through which companies can leverage their HRD Corp levy is by enrolling employees in short courses offered by the Malaysia Technical Training College (MTTC). These courses are designed to provide practical skills and knowledge relevant to various industries.

Notably, HRD Corp has introduced an hourly-based claim structure, allowing for more flexible training durations and higher fee ceilings—up to RM1,500 per hour or RM10,500 per day.
