BSC (Hons) in Construction Project Management

COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course aims to develop a range of skills and information, fundamental design needed in plan execution for a building construction project with a particular emphasis on creativity, computer-aided engineering tools, optimisation, human factors, design process, and the enterprise skills and industrial experience necessary to launch brand new products to market.

Based on the workshop findings, it is decided that the minimum requirements for those interested to enrol in this course areas below :

• Be able to calculate (basic), read and write in Bahasa Malaysia and English or other languages
• Have completed Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) level 3 in Architectural Draughting
• Full interest in architectural and engineering industry
• Physicaly and mentally fit and not color blind

The assessments are comprised of :

• Practical Competency – what the candidate must show they can do.
• Knowledge Requirements – what the candidates must know.

A standard assessment format should designed for each
individual course syllabus, and may be based on:

• Written & Multiple choice tests.
• Written & Structured questions.
• Practical Assignments.
• Project Presentations.

Evidence should be collected for each module based on:

• Checklist on attendance.
• Checklist on skill knowledge.
• Practical assignments.
• Computer-based tests.
